Gym scheduling
Front desk covered from the first check-in to lights out

Long hours, early openers and availability that changes each term.
A gym can be open 18 hours a day. That's three or four desk shifts every day, often staffed by people with class schedules.
- Opening staff
- The 5 AM opener is the shift you can't miss. Days with nobody scheduled are flagged, and the opener clocks in against their shift.
- Front desk
- Desk shifts saved as templates, painted across the week in a few clicks.
- Closing
- A closing shift that overlaps the evening desk so the last hour isn't one person alone.
- Changing availability
- Staff update their own availability when their class schedule changes. The next week's publish check picks it up.
- Swaps and call-outs
- Staff trade shifts or post one for coverage in the app. You approve either.
Clocking in at the desk
A tablet at the desk is the time clock.
Staff pick Clock In, enter their PIN and they're on the clock against today's shift. Lunches and clock-outs work the same way. Early starts are recorded as they happen.

- Tablet kioskA PIN time clock on a tablet at the desk.
- Shift swapsStaff trade shifts with your approval.
What Zchedule doesn't do: Zchedule doesn't book classes, manage memberships or check members in. Instructors can be scheduled as staff shifts, but class sign-ups stay in your gym software.
